- He is the first Physicians in private set-up to start a programme on management of HIV and AIDS including universal precautions in Delhi in 1992.
- Appointed on panel of Examiners and advisor for FRCS (Ophthalmology) Glasgow since 2001 WHO etc.
- Teacher and Mentor of PG medical students in prestigious institutions like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, KGMC etc.
- Published several papers and clinical studies including the landmark study on Ankle Arthritis with mediastinal lymphadenopathy in 2006.
- Elected as a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow in August 2003.
- Established Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2010.
- President of Delhi Rheumatology Association from 2012 -2014.
- Started a DNB programme in Rheumatology at SGRH since 2014.
- Guide and co guide of DNB students in Medicine and Rheumatology since 1997
- Rheumatology fellowship one year training imparted by the department for 2012-2015.
- Published several papers including the landmark study on Ankle Arthritis with mediastinal lymphadenopathy in 2006
- He has delivered lectures as faculty, moderator and panel discussions in various national and regional Conferences.
- Organised many Conferences, CMEs and Training programmes.
